Hi there, thanks for visiting my blog!
My name is Claire, I’m 23 from London and adore all things food, travel and one off.
As a child I spent most summer and Christmas holidays in Austria. My Mum is Austrian and we would stay with my Grandmother in Klagenfurt (Southern Austria). As she didn’t see us often she liked to treat us with delicious meals. I’d wake up with the scent of Viennese coffee in the morning and have the pleasure of tucking into selections of meats and cheeses for dinner. I decided to name my blog Schnitzel, after my wonderful Grandmother.
As a wannabe journalist I’d like to think of this blog as a place to exercise my food, travel and review writing as well as update my Clippings page as an archive of my writing achievements since university.
